Getting started with making our favorite chocolate covered pretzel rods, you’ll want to have all of your supplies on hand.  Of course, you need the basics like milk chocolate chips, unwrapped caramels, pretzel rods, white chocolate chips, or white chocolate candy melts.  You can also include some gold, red, green, or white sprinkles to add to the holiday theme.

In the past, I have shared about my love of Christmas and the spirit of the season.  Part of that for me includes enjoying things like the inspiration for this recipe.  My aunt makes wonderful chocolate covered caramel pretzels every year that includes speciality chocolates and her own homemade caramel.

This recreation is a simpler method that is all about sharing a few of my own family celebrations with you.
