Champagne Soaked Gummy Bears

These Champagne Soaked Gummy Bears are perfect if you are looking for a last-minute New Year’s Eve treat that you can put together quickly, something unique and special to gift or share for Valentine’s Day.  Perhaps you just need an indulgent snack while you lounge in a bubble bath with candles (my favorite way to enjoy them).

All you need are 2 simple ingredients- gummy bears and champagne.  You don’t even have to grab the expensive bottle to enjoy these champagne-soaked gummy bears, I went for a lower end version, and they were still wonderful and bubbly.

Pour champagne over the top, be sure that they are completely covered.

Allow gummy bears to soak up the champagne for 6-8 hours, be careful not to let them soak too long as they will disintegrate and become too mushy to enjoy.

When they are swollen to about 50% more than their original size, drain off any excess champagne.

You can serve them in a pretty dish or drop a few into a glass of champagne to add some color to your drink.

They make a wonderful hostess gift if you are attending an adult party!
