  • 2 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  1. Combine your chicken broth and 1/2 cup milk in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine your flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper and 1 cup of milk and mix using a hand mixer until they’re no clumps.
  3. Whisk your flour mixture into your broth and continue to whisk for about 10 minutes. The soup will start to thicken.
  4. Use as you would a can of cream of chicken soup.
