Spicy Sausage Balls

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot or spicy pork sausage, room temperature
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend, room temperature
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ tsp. red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cover baking sheet in aluminum foil, this will help clean up be a snap.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until well mixed. Your hands will be your best tool for this job.
  4. Form into ping pong sized balls and place on prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Move to a paper towel lined plate and allow to drain well.
