Around this time of year, the infamous Shamrock shake makes an appearance and like most, I think it’s amazing.  I however don’t want to have to run out of the house in order to get one when I can make it at home with ease.  The Over The Rainbow Shamrock Shake below contains a short list of ingredients and certainly costs less than the drive-thru Shamrock Shake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mint Extract
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Whipped Cream
  • Air Heads Rainbow Candy, optional

Instructions

  1. In a blender add 2 cups of vanilla Ice Cream.
  2. Add 1 cup of milk, and ½ teaspoon of mint extract.
  3. Then simply add 5-7 drops of green food coloring and blend.
  4. Once all is blended transfer to a serving glass.
  5. You can add some clouds to the top of your shake with whipped cream and you can add your rainbow candies if you like.
